Scholars Academy

The Scholars Academy provides advanced learners with a quality education in a supportive learning environment. Through a partnership between Spartanburg County Schools and USC Upstate, the program allows students to take college courses and advanced high school classes over four years while still participating in classes and extracurricular activities at their own schools.

The USC Upstate Scholars Academy...

-Offers college classes & advanced high school classes.

-Is for Grades 9-12. You must enter in Fall of 9th grade.

-Allows you to…

  •    Earn all high school graduation units in 3 years.
  •    Earn about 60 college credits (2 years of college).

…and still participate in your own school’s extra curricular activities, sports, clubs, etc.
